Isagenix Press Release

Isagenix Announced It's Poised for Global Expansion

Warren TeBrugge said Isagenix is ready to compete globally.

Chandler, Ariz. - Aug. 28, 2006 - Attendees at Isagenix's Celebration 2006 Aug. 22 general session learned Isagenix will announce its plans for its first international market expansion outside North America at the Top Achievers Event Jan. 20 in Los Angeles. Isagenix President and CEO Jim Coover, COO/CFO Jim Pierce and Warren TeBrugge all spoke on future Isagenix international expansion, and on how Associates should prepare to become a global company.

Coover explained the best way to prepare for the new expansion is to first strengthen the market in North America. "We want to focus on your foundation, and your foundation is here," Coover said. "Being in this industry for as many years as I have, I've seen companies try and expand too quickly and overreach, only to have it blow up in their face. We're not going to approach our growth that way. Wherever Isagenix goes, it's going to be successful."

Pierce expanded upon Coover's remarks by telling Associates Isagenix has doubled the sizes of its accounting, manufacturing and customer service departments in the past year, and now has Spanish, English, Chinese and French customer service lines. The company has also pledged to invest $10 million in its IT department during the next two years to integrate the latest technology, improve system response time and develop a better platform to make changes that will support international expansion.

To increase the efficiency of its manufacturing procedures, said Pierce, Isagenix has contracted with a new bottling partner in California, upgraded the automation of its filling lines, implemented better quality control and met Canadian compliance requirements. Next year Isagenix will be introducing a new 102,000-square-foot manufacturing plant that will serve as the company's primary production and distribution center.

Pierce said Isagenix is focusing on applying these new developments in its infrastructure so Associates don't have to worry about it. "You only have to worry about spreading the word, telling your friends, and helping build this company to a multi-million-dollar enterprise. We're here for you."

"We have everything we need to compete globally," said TeBrugge, who recommended preparing for the expansion as one would prepare for the Olympics. "We have the best Olympic team we could possibly have, and we want to make sure that we are great. We want gold!"

The first new country is set to open as early as April 2007, which will require quick preparation by both Isagenix company leadership and Associate teams. "The only difference is that in the Olympics you get four years to prepare," TeBrugge said. "I'm going to give you eight months."

The company, with Associates already in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, aims to reach revenues of $15 million a month in North America by the end of the year.

To meet the goal, TeBrugge emphasized focusing on North America first and asked Associates to be sure all Isagenix products distributed through their organizations "stay in North America." The company wants to limit any possible exportation of product that may hamper its ability to open in a country.

TeBrugge also asked Associates to prepare for the global launch by strengthening their personal development and aligning their vision with that of the company. "We need each of you to be the best that you can be," TeBrugge said. "Good isn't good enough. Great is what we want each of you to be."

To qualify for the Top Achievers Event and be among the first to know international expansion plans, Associates must earn the level of 2-Star Golden Circle by Dec. 17, 2006 and be personally invited to the event. See your Associate Back Office, or call 877-877-8111 for more details
