Isagenix Press Release

Isagenix's Celebration 2006 Rocks Vegas, Delivers a Mega-Dose of Momentum

Isagenix Founder and Formulator John Anderson addresses Celebration attendees while Co-Founders Jim and Kathy Coover look on.

Chandler, Ariz. - Aug. 28, 2006 - Celebration 2006 is being touted as the most successful Isagenix event ever. From the moment the doors opened about 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20 and more than 3,000 Associates poured into the grand ballroom at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, one could feel the Associates' unbridled energy and passion bouncing off the walls as the Black Eyed Peas' song "Let's Get it Started" reverberated over the speakers. The noise level continued to rise in anticipation of the 4 p.m. opening session. At one point, groups from Canada and Puerto Rico commandeered the stage to display their countries' flags and group unity. Indeed, every square inch of the 55,695-square-foot room was filled with a level of enthusiasm seldom witnessed in everyday, ordinary life. Those who are part of the Isagenix family made it clear they live anything but an ordinary life.

It's a wonder the ballroom at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is still standing.

It took the captivating acrobatic/gymnastic performance of the opening act, Dreamcast, to subdue the frenzied gathering. Dreamcast's performance included cube twirling, gravity defying acrobatics high above the stage using long sheets of fabric, and a duo that demonstrated their gymnastic strength with amazing balancing maneuvers.

As the opening act concluded, two unidentifiable, hooded individuals walked onto the stage. They were each attached to rigging and then swung up and forward toward the audience-at which time they removed their hoods to show the audience they were Jim and Kathy Coover making a grand entrance.

"This event's opening was designed to send a clear message to our Associates that they all can and must reach beyond themselves to fully realize this Celebration's theme of 'Making a Difference, One Life at a Time,'" said Jim. "Kathy and I had to definitely get out of our comfort zone to allow ourselves to be flying around the stage in our introduction."

The Associates' enthusiasm was set on "high" throughout the Celebration.

Founder and Formulator Enthusiastically Welcomed

Once back on solid ground, the Coovers wasted little time turning the stage over to Isagenix Founder and Formulator John Anderson. A reverenced awe permeated the audience as Anderson took the stage, accompanied by his daughter Kjersti Cote-who is the voice Associates hear conducting the weekly conference calls.

"Jim and Kathy have done a phenomenal job of organizing and preparing for the event of a lifetime," said Anderson, who added he felt it was "really a pleasure" to be there because his mother-in-law's illness made it uncertain whether or not he'd be able to attend, and he thanked the Associates for their thoughts and prayers. Before exiting, Anderson said he'd be back the next day to update the Associates regarding his latest projects.

Making a Difference

As the theme from Star Wars played, Jim returned to center stage.

"Imagine if we could harness all of this energy, and the impact it can have on making a difference in this world," said Jim. "When I think about our opportunity, I think about the fact that we are changing lives. Every one of us every day has an opportunity to impact somebody in a special way. We can change the way they look and the way they feel."

Jim said he remembers as a young boy seeing people who were less fortunate-whether they were sick, poor or simply unhappy-and how he had a desire to help these people.

"I've been fortunate to live an amazing life. What I can tell you is I've applied myself to try to make a difference. What I've learned along the way is that as individuals we can make a difference. But it's not about keeping it to yourself. You never really have something until you share it with others. What I found out is it's not about me, it's about we."

Creating the Right Company

He recounted how John Anderson, whom he had known for about 25 years, came back into his life around 2002. "He came with a vision that we could create a company that could really make a difference in this world. We saw an opportunity. If we were willing to combine our talents-John's, being the magnificent formulator that he is, Kathy's and mine, having been in the network marketing industry-we could create a vehicle with great possibilities for people."

Jim outlined the three simple goals they had for the company: to create products for the healthiest people on the planet, to give out the most compensation to its Associates, and to enjoy having the most fun with its Associates.

Jim then asked the audience, "How many of you are feeling healthier because of Isagenix? How many of you are feeling wealthier because of Isagenix? And yes, how many of you are having fun?" The crowd erupted with applause to show its agreement after each question.

He then shared how the company's revenues have grown quickly over its short lifespan, from $19 million in 2002 to projected revenues of more than $100 million in 2006. "I think that's what's known as 'a clue' that good news travels fast," said Jim. "And I will tell you that we would not be enjoying that growth were it not for you. John, Kathy and I came with a vision, but your work, your effort, your willingness to share in this vision, that's made the difference."

"In fact, we expanded our vision at the beginning of this year," said Jim. "Our vision is to be able to change the way people are able to live their lives. And we want to have an impact on people's health and well-being. We want to be able to free people from physical and financial pain, and in the process we think we can grow to become the No. 1 health and wellness company in the world. Do you believe it?" The enthusiastic applause from the Associates again quickly answered this question.

"We began this year with a goal to achieve $100 million. If we do not raise our sales anymore than what our current levels are, we'll do well over $100 million," added Jim.

Jim pointed out that $100 million is the equivalent of about 100,000 people using the Isagenix products. "Think about the lives that have been changed by those actually experiencing what we have. In fact, I know many of you have had a life-changing experience-and received your health back."

Audience Testimonials

He then went into the audience and had several Associates each share their experience using Isagenix products.

"As a nutritionist and chiropractor, I can be confident that I can give Isagenix to all my clients," said Dr. Ina Nozek of Toms River, New Jersey, who added that the products have done "just amazing things" for her patients. "For me personally, it gave me my energy back. It's just been awesome."

"This business has changed my life, but first of all it started with the products. I lost three dress sizes and have been able to maintain that for four years," said Shauna Ekstrom of Enumclaw, Wash.

"One of the things Kathy and I appreciate the most as we travel around the country is meeting people with life-changing experiences," said Jim.

Jim invited Krys Curtis to come up to the stage and share her success story with the audience. "It has absolutely changed my life," she said. "Thank you Isagenix for giving me hope for my health."

New Branding, Tools

Kathy discussed Isagenix's new branding, explaining the "A" in the new logo stands for Associates, although it could stand for "angels" because "someone is definitely watching over our company." She then asked Associates to imagine the logo in every household, on every car window, and even on the moon.

Kathy then wowed Associates when she revealed the newly designed Ionix Supreme and Cleanse for Life bottles, which she estimated would begin shipping by December. She added that the Maintenance for Life Program was being renamed the Total Health and Wellness Program.

"We are not just investing in our look. We are investing in our most important asset, which is you," said Kathy, who then discussed the Certified Training Program being developed for 2007. One component of this is the New Associate Training manual, which Kathy pointed out gives new Associates the basic steps they need to start building their business.

Before introducing the new Your Business at Home magazine, Kathy told Associates "We were looking for the most professional way for you to share our incredible Isagenix story... And we have something absolutely fantastic to unveil to you tonight" after which she brought Isagenix Director of Communications Jeff Pizzino on stage wearing a sandwich board of the magazine's cover. This was followed by a Your Business at Home promotional video.

"This is a major milestone for Isagenix," said Kathy.

Variety of Fruits Stressed

Creator of IsaFruits, author and nutrition expert Tony O'Donnell, N.D., said that researchers at Tufts University in Boston discovered "the more fresh fruits we put in our diet, the less chance we have of degenerative disease." He added that it's a sad fact 86 percent of the U.S. don't eat any fresh fruits or vegetables on a daily basis, and that Isagenix Associates are making more of an impact upon people's health than most of the doctors in the world by simply sharing the Isagenix story.

"The greatest gift we can give is the gift of health," said O'Donnell, who then spent much of the rest of the Celebration in the lobby signing copies of his new book, Miracle Super Foods That Heal.

The opening session concluded with several awards and recognitions (see pp. 28-29).

Cultural Groups Unified

Cultural groups, largely from Canada and Puerto Rico, made their presence known at each general session. Team Ivy, consisting mostly of 150 Chinese Associates from Canada, was easily identifiable with their yellow shirts and Canadian flags. Puerto Rico continually hoisted their large banner and country's flag to show their unity.

"We're so excited to be here," said Team Ivy member Rick Chen of Vancouver, British Columbia. "We chose the name Team Ivy because we want to grow like ivy-fast and in all places. This Celebration is going to help us do that." In less than a year Team Ivy has grown to 6,500 strong.

Ending With An IsaBang

After the memorable opening session Sunday, the remaining two days of Celebration 2006 reconfirmed Associates had made the right decision by attending. In addition to several more general sessions, which included presentations by best-selling authors Jack Canfield and Dr. John Gray, there were 12 breakout workshops, a Founders' Gala Dinner and an evening of awards.

Another highlight of the event was the "We Can Make a Difference" song performed by Kathy Humpherys.

The closing session masterfully tied together Celebration 2006 with a giant exclamation mark. After hearing the secrets of success from the 12 Associates on the Millionaire Roundtable, witnessing the power of 10 athletes on Isagenix, and seeing the reality of the "real results, real people" slogan with 20 people on stage who had lost 100 pounds, there was little doubt in anyone's mind that Isagenix truly is making a difference in people's lives.

"What an amazing, amazing weekend we've been able to spend with all of you," Jim said during the Coovers' closing remarks, who then reiterated what an honor it is for them to be sharing the Isagenix journey with all of the Associates. "It all started with a vision, the vision of John Anderson, and that vision has expanded as more and more of us have joined in this journey to change the world."

After announcing the upcoming trainings and events the Coovers would be attending, Kathy asked the audience if they could feel the power in the room, if their belief level had increased by "1,000 percent," and if they knew Isagenix could be the largest health and wellness company in the world.

"We can only do it as a team and as a family," exclaimed Kathy. "We love you, and you are our family, and we're going to do it together!" As is tradition after the Coovers' final remarks, Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" was played, causing many of the Associates to break out in dance.

One last surprise guest was then introduced to the Associates. Clint Holmes, voted "Best All Around Entertainer in Las Vegas," sang a touching acoustic version of his new song, "If Not Now When."

Miraculously, after all the passionate applauding, screaming and cheering, the grand ballroom at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino was still intact at the conclusion of Celebration 2006. Soon the Associates were off to their respective parts of the world, re-energized with a mega-dose of momentum flowing through their veins, thanks to this event of a lifetime.
